About LectureLogger
An idea rooted in supporting college and university students
Founded by Jude Lugo, a student at SMU’s Cox School of Business, LectureLogger was inspired by first hand experiences. Engaged in various extracurricular activities, Jude noted the significant challenges professors faced with accurate attendance tracking and the consequential impact on student success and wellbeing.
Moved by his peers' struggles with mental health and the university's limited ability to offer consistent support, Jude envisioned a tool that would not only boost academic engagement but also foster mental health awareness across campuses.
This idea materialized when Jude introduced LectureLogger at SMU's Big iDeas pitch contest, capturing the attention of pivotal university stakeholders and setting the foundation for what LectureLogger would become.
Today, LectureLogger aids thousands of university students and their professors with a streamlined attendance tracking system.
